What we collect

Calendash collects the minimum data needed to power the app:

• Account data — email address, display name, and profile photo when you create an account.
• Race interactions — which races you view, save, or register for, so we can personalise your calendar and recommendations.
• Device identifiers — anonymous analytics identifiers for crash reporting and usage metrics (via PostHog and Sentry). No advertising identifiers are collected.
• Location — only when you grant permission, to show nearby races. Location is never stored on our servers.
• Fitness imports — activity data you choose to import (e.g. from Apple Health or Strava) to display personal records. This data stays on-device unless you explicitly share it.

How we use it

• Provide and improve the Calendash service.
• Send transactional notifications (registration confirmations, race updates).
• Generate anonymised, aggregate analytics.
• Fulfil legal obligations.

Third-party services

We use the following services that may process your data:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and storage.
• Stripe — payment processing for race registrations (organiser payouts via Stripe Connect).
• PostHog — product analytics.
• Sentry — crash and error reporting.
• Apple (StoreKit) — in-app purchases and subscriptions.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time via the app (Profile > Privacy > Delete My Data) or by emailing sspkobe+calendash@gmail.com. Deletion requests are fulfilled within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Submit a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) through the app or email sspkobe+calendash@gmail.com.

Children

Calendash is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email.
